Welcome to the Shipping Guide for Palletfly.com. This guide is designed to help you navigate the process of shipping bulk orders efficiently using our ordering system.
In order to physically ship out an order, we require shipping documents. Who obtains the document and which documents required depend on the scenario. Further details are in the child pages. This outline is here for you to understand what documents we must obtain to ship out an order:
- Shipping to Customer
- SPD (Small Parcel Delivery) - Box shipping labels.
- LTL (Less then a truckload) - BOL (Bill of Lading).
- Shipping to FBA:
- SPD (Small Parcel Delivery) - Box shipping labels & FBA box labels.
- LTL (Less then a truckload) - Box labels, Pallet labels, BOL (Bill of Lading).
- In Person Pickup (usually not offered)
- Signed Pickup slip.
Before proceeding with shipping, it's crucial to decide between speed and cost efficiency. By default, Palletfly opts for cost-effective routing. If you prefer expedited shipping or need to split shipments, please specify this during checkout. Requests made after payment might not be accommodated.
- 3PL (3rd Party Logistics): Refers to third-party handling of orders.
- LTL (Less Than Truckload): Shipments that do not require a full truck.
- TL (Truckload): A shipment that fills an entire truck.
- FOB (Freight On Board): Indicates the customer pays for shipping.
- BOL (Bill of Lading): Document used by truckers when picking up shipments.
- PRO Number: Tracking number for pallets.
- POD (Proof Of Delivery): Document confirming delivery.
- Ship-To or CWH: The location or location ID which the order will ship to.
Our goal is to facilitate fast, smooth shipments, though each of our 100+ warehouses has specific guidelines. Non-compliant shipments may be rejected. Review this guide thoroughly to ensure compliance with all requirements.
- ASIN Labeling: We do not label products unless specified on our listing. Amazon labeling is recommended.
- Will Call Policy: We only allow in person pickups if the ship from address on your order is marked as: WH7 - 2493 Mcdonald Ave, Brooklyn NY 11223
- Pickup Scheduling: Some warehouses may require UPS or Fedex pickups; additional fees may apply.
- Box Labeling for Amazon: Most warehouses do not provide box labeling without fees. Pallet labeling is included; additional box labeling can be quoted upon request.
- Standard Shipping Flow: Proper selection during checkout ensures accurate processing. However, you must note that changes may be necessary based on warehouse requirements.
Upon payment confirmation, your order is prepared by the warehouse. You will receive shipment details via email titled with a shipment ID (SID).
- Communication Protocol: All shipping-related correspondence must occur within the shipment email thread. Submit documents only in response to this thread to avoid errors.
- Shipping Adjustments: Making unauthorized adjustments may lead to penalties or order cancellation.
- Carrier Selection: We do not accept USPS due to lack of proof of shipment. Use alternative providers for shipping.
For orders damaged during transit, claims must be filed directly with the shipping company. It's your responsibility to purchase insurance for shipments. Notify us of any non-shipping related damages within 3 days of receipt with images and documentation. Allow time for FBA centers to receive shipments.

For products requiring ASIN labels, follow these steps:
- Setup Amazon inventory as per our guide or Amazon's instructions.
- Print labels using Amazon Seller Central and submit as PDFs.
- Proceed with your chosen shipping option after providing ASIN labels.
