Order Placement and Processing:
- Order Confirmation: Upon full payment for your order, you'll receive a notification that your order has been released for shipping.
- Order Processing: Our team begins processing your order by picking items from our inventory or placing orders with suppliers if needed, and preparing them for shipment.
Shipping Methods:
We offer several shipping methods tailored to your shipment size and requirements:
- Small Parcel Delivery (SPD): Ideal for smaller packages shipped via carriers like UPS or FedEx.
- Less than Truckload (LTL): Suitable for larger shipments that don't require a full truckload.
- Full Truckload (FTL): For large quantities that fill an entire truck, offering cost-efficiency for bulk shipments.
- In Person Pickup: For items that show (WH7) 2493 Mcdonald Ave Brooklyn NY 11223 as the ship-from address on your product quote. (NOT for quotes that show WH1000)
Preparing for Shipment:
We prepare each order according to your specified routing selection:
- Packaging: Our team ensures proper packaging to safeguard your products during transit.
- Documentation: We assist in preparing necessary shipping documents such as packing lists and commercial invoices to facilitate smooth customs clearance if required.
- FBA Additional Labeling: For shipments to Amazon FBA, we facilitate applying necessary shipping documents. Refer to our full shipping guide for detailed instructions.
Required Shipping Documents
To proceed with shipping, specific documents are necessary for smooth carrier handoff and labeling:
- FBA Documents: Customers must provide required FBA documents for orders routed to Amazon FBA, even if Palletfly is the shipper.
- Palletfly Handling Shipping: If Palletfly is the designated shipper, our team procures shipping documents.
- Customer Handling Shipping: If customers are the designated shippers, they must provide shipping documents.
Collecting Shipping Documents
We have a structured process to collect shipping documents to minimize errors:
- Document Collection: Once an order is prepared for shipment, detailed shipment information is shared in a dedicated shipment thread.
- Customer Submission: Customers share prepared documents in the dedicated shipment thread.
- Document Processing: Our team processes shipping documents and updates you on each step through the dedicated thread, ensuring clarity and continuity.
Pickup, Tracking and Delivery
- Carrier Coordination: We coordinate pickups directly with carriers. Please refrain from contacting carriers; our team manages this process.
- Carrier Pickup: Carriers send trucks to physically pick up your goods; delays may occur beyond Palletfly's control.
- Tracking Information: Upon shipment, you receive tracking details to monitor progress from our warehouse to delivery. Once picked up, carrier liability begins.
Customer Support:
- Dedicated Support: Our customer support team assists throughout the shipping process, addressing any queries or concerns.
- Post-Delivery Assistance: We provide support after delivery to ensure your satisfaction with our shipping services.
