What to do if your shipment is lost / FBA lost your shipment

When you ship goods directly into Amazon FBA, you must rely on them to receive and inspect your goods. Once the goods are picked up from a Palletfly warehouse or partner warehouse, they are completely out of our control. As much as we would like to control the process of getting them into your Amazon account quicker, we are unable to do so.

The general guidelines of how Amazon receives inventory are stated on amazon seller central here.

Much more details on Amazon's receiving process is within those guides if you browse around. More specfically, here.

For instance:
"Receiving: Amazon has started scanning your shipment ID labels. Units are available for sale as soon as they are received. However, because units may be sent to other fulfillment centers closer to customers, it can take up to 18 days for received units to be available for immediate shipping."

In our general experience, it is normal for a shipment to take 30 days for amazon to complete receiving it.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done to speed up that process. That is something you will need to take up with Amazon. It is their facility processing your products and not a Palletfly one.

If you don't see the units you ordered in your account within 30 days, we recommend that you start a reconciliation right when Amazon opens up the option to you.

Documents you may need:

Signed BOL: For LTL/TL shipments, Palletfly warehouses retain copies of signed BOLs on file, which is what you will need to make a claim with Amazon. You can obtain this by emailing "Please send me a signed BOL" to the shipment thread and a team member will gladly supply it to you.

Paid Invoice: For all paid orders that have shipped out of our facility, you will be able to obtain a copy of the paid invoice. This can be downloaded from the Review and pay button located on the invoice thread.

POD (proof of delivery): If amazon asks you for a POD, you will be able to obtain this by contacting the carrier stated on the shipment. Provide them with the PRO number and other information you will have from the BOL and ask them to send you a copy of the POD.
NOTE: Each carrier has different contact methods, so locate their website and see which methods they will be able to assist you. Palletfly will not obtain PODs on your behalf.
